Manipulation of Energy Flow with X-Type Vortex

In this study, a new method for manipulating energy flow in 3D vector field is proposed. method, an azimuthally-polarized beam with noncanonical vortex, the X-type focused high-numerical aperture system. It found that, instead of invariance which characteristic traditional vortex (i.e., canonical vortex), both longitudinal and transverse flows virtue rotate around center as propagates, rotational behavior (including maxima location angle) can be adjusted by anisotropic parameter order vortex. Through defining complex Poynting applying equivalence principle, its topological reactions are discussed focal plane. Our result shows changing rich will occur, resulting various distribution patterns flow, such multi vortex-type singularities center. research demonstrates newly-observed features also provides simple to manipulate along directions, useful optical manipulations.
